Jesus spoke with gentle grace,
To a woman with tears on her face,
“I am the resurrection and life,
Believe in me, and end all strife.”

His words brought hope to troubled heart,
And a light in the darkness did impart,
For though death may come to all,
Belief in Jesus would never fall.

The promise of everlasting life,
Made her heart soar far from strife,
And in that moment she knew,
That Jesus’ words would ring true.

For He is the way, the truth, the life,
The one who guides us through every strife,
So let us believe in His holy name,
And we will live forevermore, free from blame.
