Trump has definitely won over the Christian conservatives in America. And, when considering the alternative of who we have in office now; it is easy to see why.
I myself supported Trump during the presidential race in 2020. But, I always had my own thoughts and opinons of him.
Donald Trump is full of PRIDE! He was quoted on an interview with FOX News as saying, “Why should I have to ask God for forgiveness…I haven’t done anything, that I feel that I should be forgiven for”.
That really upset me. Trump is a man, born of flesh and blood, just like every other person on this earth. He is a sinner, we are all sinners…but yet he thinks he has never done anything wrong in his life that needs God’s forgiveness.
God resists the proud, He embraces the Humble. I think all of these hard core Trump supporters, who are Christians need to take a step back and really examine who he really is, and the things he stands for…and the things that he says.
His arrogance, and blunt words can be sickening at times. He also made statements during his presidency, giving praise to the LGBTQ during pride month in 2019. Is it just me, or does it seem like every single month is Pride month?
I pray that he will come to know Jesus Christ for real, and one day will swallow his pride, and humble himself before God and repent of his sins…because he is only a man, just like the rest of us.
The truth of the matter is, we should not allow ourselves to be brainwashed by the propaganda that is pushed upon us through tv, movies, news etc. We should not put all of our faith & trust into a human being. We should only put our faith & trust in God.
