This election race this past Tuesday was a very important one to me, important to every American, and to every born again believing Christian…I was born and raised in North Carolina, and I still live here now.
Honestly, there is no other place on earth that I would rather live. I love my state. But, being completely honest, and I am ashamed admitting this…but not until just recently did I find out that abortion is legal in the state of North Carolina.
Learning of this really made me feel sad, heart-broken, and mostly ashamed! I have always pictured North Carolina to be a state rooted in conservative values, a place where everyone is raised with high morals and values, with a sense of family, just hard–working honest, God fearing people.
I am embarassed to say that I only learned of it because of a reality show on the WE Channel. One of the women on the show resided in Georgia, and she was wanting to have the abortion procedure, but she had to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to have it done.
Seeing this really upset me. Maybe, my way of thinking is just too conservative for this new age’s way of thinking in today‘s society. But, that couldn’t be further from the truth! But, Satan is the god of this world, so I reckon it makes sense. And, I know I am not a child of this world…I am a child of God, and I know that my place is in Heaven, serving the Lord for eternity!
People should only be caring about the decisions and choices that they make in life in accordance with God’s law’s only, not mankind. He makes it abundantly clear throughout the scriptures, and within The Ten Commandments.
Abortion is murder plain and simple! It should definitely not be a woman’s choice, because it is her body. It goes way beyond that. But, that is what is wrong with this generation… people do not stop to think about the consequences of their choices made while on this earth will hold.
In the end of all things, God’s opinions and judgements of the choices we all make in our lives, are truly the only ones that matter… because they ultimately determine whether we will spend eternity with our Lord In Heaven, or forever damned in Hell!
God tells us as Good Christians, we should be aware of these things, and to give judgement where proper judgement is needed in accordance with God’s law’s, and not mankind’s.
In the society we’re living in today, everyone is choosing to go “with the crowd”, and choosing to be a “follower” of man, instead of choosing to be a follower of Christ. It is absurd. Never live your life worshipping people, because when your day comes when you will be standing before Him…They Won’t Be There!
The prophecies written in The Book of Revelation are becoming a reality. Things are happening even quicker now, proving that Jesus’ return is soon upon us. Remember everyone, Jesus loves you more than anything, do not fall asleep each night without telling Him how much you love Him!
And, always remember to pray for our leaders, and the ones who are choosing to live their lives being lost. God tells us that we need to do what we can in these perilous times to spread His gospel. And we must do this, to save as many as we can. Time is seriously running short!
