Joel Scott Osteen is an American preacher, televangelist, author, and the Senior Pastor of Lakewood Church, the largest Protestant church in the United States, in Houston, Texas. His televised sermons are seen by over 7 million viewers weekly and over 20 million monthly in over 100 countries.

This quote is one of Joel’s favorites to say over & over throughout his sermons. Osteen is a “Prosperity Preacher”. I decided recently to try and make it through one of his sermon’s, and it was nauseating to say the least! He does not preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In fact, he doesn’t preach period! His sermons are filled with prosperity teachings. Listening to his sermons reminds me of those late night infomercials you see on tv with Tony Robbins. Osteen is quoted as saying “It’s God’s will for you to live in prosperity instead of poverty.
Make no mistake about it, Joel Osteen is a false teacher. He preaches the prosperity and feel-good gospel; nothing about sin or hell for those who are not saved. Jesus is a friend who wants you healthy and wealthy. The masses will always turn out for a message like that. They did in biblical times when false prophets arose to deceive them.
Osteen is leading so many to destruction. Along with many others like Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Benny Hinn, & etc. Our call as Christians is to search the Scriptures to see if what we hear aligns with God’s Holy Word. Do not let yourselves be deceived!
