Sheol, the barren womb, the land never satisfied with water, and the fire that never says, “Enough.” – Proverbs 30:16
The New Testament says Hell is a fiery lake of burning sulfur, it is an everlasting destruction, it is a banishment from the Lord, a separation from God.
On the earth right now we have what is called a common grace, everybody lives under the grace of God…sinner or righteous person. Everyone benefits from it.
The sun shines upon the just and the unjust, the rain falls on the fields of the just and the unjust. That is a common Grace of God.
What you sow…you reap, and so; even if you are a vile horrible sinner, you can benefit from this life with beauty, joy, love, money, finance, and anything else that you have, because that is the common grace for all.
But, could you imagine after you leave this planet through death, being separated from any grace or any attribute of God Himself.
Could you imagine what is the opposite, the absence of light? Darkness. What is the absence of joy? Think of everything that God is and eliminate it, because if you do not want God…He will give you what you want.
It is the punishment of an eternal fire, this is what Jesus said. Jesus again is the one who spoke more about Hell than anyone else. Why would Jesus speak about Hell more than anyone else?
As a warning. Jesus’ description of Hell is described as a blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, a place where the fire never goes out…a place where the worm never dies, and the fire is not quenched.
It is also called the outer darkness, there is sulfur burning; but yet it is in complete darkness. It is not for illumination.
These are things in the spirit realm, that are being described in the physical realm. So there may be literal flames, in literal darkness, with literal worms.
I have no idea what it is like to be separated from God, nor does anyone who has ever lived know what it is like to be separated from God.
Because again they are in God’s Creation on this planet, and they are receiving God’s Blessings. So no one can understand what it means to be separated from God.
“Then shall He say unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” – Matthew 25:41
As good Christians we need to warn everyone. Because there is a place of eternal punishment for souls who have denied God! This is very important.
The most important choice that a person can make in their lives. The only choice that ultimately matters. Everything else is irrelevant! Remember God loves all of us more than anything!
If you haven’t already accepted Jesus Christ into your heart, and you are reading this…then He is speaking to you…right now at this very moment. Please do not choose to deny Him!
God Bless all of you and your families! Remember to tell Him how much you love Him every night before you go to sleep…we never know if we are guaranteed another day!
